Four Big Tech titans – Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai of Google and Tim Cook of Apple – will testify before the House Judiciary Antitrust subcommittee on Wednesday. The hearing “Online Platforms and Market Power, Part 6: Examining the Dominance of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google” begins at 12 p.m. EDT. “It’s not a coincidence that Amazon was born in this country,” Bezos will say, according to his prepared statement. Cicilline, however, believes that breaking the Big Tech companies up should be a last resort, according to the Associated Press.
