Big Brothers Big Sisters celebrate 10 years in TaranakiThe Rocks Urenui Big Brothers Big Sisters got together for their end of year Christmas party and celebrated their tenth anniversary. Big Brothers Big Sisters, a programme that matches kids with volunteer mentors, held their tenth anniversary at The Rocks Urenui on Saturday with a mad hatters' tea party. Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) programme coordinator for Taranaki, Warren Bain, said it was an amazing event. The Rocks Urenui Tweedledum and Tweedledee (aka The Rocks Urenui owners Alex and Mike Cole) welcomed Big Brothers Big Sisters to their venue. The Rocks Urenui co-owner Alex Cole - aka Tweedledee - said they volunteered to host the event to give back to the community.
