LARKANA: 34-year-old man Mashooque Narejo was gunned down by his rivals in the limits of Ketty Mumtaz police station allegedly over an old dispute between Bhutto and Khuhro communities in village Burira near Larkana. On hearing the news, the police reached the spot and shifted the body to Rural Health Centre, Naundero, for medico-legal formalities. After postmortem, the body was handed over to heirs. Moosa Narejo, a brother of the deceased, told newsmen that his brother had gone to operate tube-well to irrigate lands at night time where armed men shot him dead on the spot. However, the police have started further investigation into the murder.
