PETALING JAYA: The Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) disciplinary body will launch a probe against deputy president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir and youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman for not supporting party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, if there are any reports against the duo. He was asked to comment on calls to probe Mukhriz, who claimed that Bersatu never endorsed Muhyiddin as its choice to be prime minister. Meanwhile, Syed Saddiq had reportedly said that he was firm on his stance not to work with Umno. "Whatever decision is made by the party on me, let it be because I stood my ground and sided with the truth," said Syed Saddiq. The Muar MP explained that he joined Bersatu because he wanted to fight corruption and abuse of power.
