US Senator Bernie Sanders and his wife Jane Sanders have hired lawyers amid an FBI investigation into a loan Jane obtained to expand Burlington College while she was its president. Jane Sanders served as president of Burlington College from 2004 to 2011, reports the Huffington Post. The probe is looking into whether Jane falsified bank documents in 2010 in an attempt to secure a $10m loan to expand the college’s campus.
