Forbes ranked the Bentonville School District second in the state in its assessment of America's best employers, according to a news release Tuesday. The School District has 1,279 employees, according to the Forbes news release. It's the company's fifth annual list ranking state employers, according to Forbes. Others finishing among the top five employers in Arkansas on Forbes' list included ArcBest, based in Fort Smith, at No. Springdale was the next school district on the list at 15th.
