Indiana becomes latest US state to implement near-total abortion ban


Fifteen US states have now introduced stringent safeguards protecting the unborn since the overturning of Roe v Wade. According to #WeCount, an estimated 25,640 fewer abortions took place nationwide in the nine months following the judgement which returned abortion law to state legislatures. Indiana’s Attorney General Todd Rokita heralded the news a defeat for “pro-death advocates” and a victory for “innocent, unborn babies”. ‘Lost fatherhood’A US study has shown that 71 per cent of men experience “adverse changes in themselves” after an abortion loss. In a survey commissioned for Support After Abortion, many men reported depression, guilt, anger, a “sense of lost fatherhood”, and other emotions.
