Bengaluru: Burglar arrested for raping techie in PG centre


A burglar, who had raped a techie at a paying guest (PG) accommodation centre in Bengaluru nearly 10 days ago, was arrested by the police. HABITUAL OFFENDERAccording to the police, the crime was committed by a habitual offender Murali (24), who hailed from Kolar district in Karnataka. Murali had gone to the PG centre hoping to find jewellery but ended raping the lone woman in the PG centre. The police have also directed the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike to initiate action against the owner of the PG centre for not implementing guidelines recommended by the government.
