Ben Kuzma: Brash Burrows humbled as Ring of Honour inductee
It wasn’t the finger bite, the hair pull, being called a clown or targeted by a referee with an agenda. “It was never for what I played for and I never thought I’d be one of those guys who would get this incredible honour. “They just let us be a part of it (tour).”That window on Burrows’ world had a lot to do with his perseverance. Craig Heisinger was the Manitoba Moose general manager when he discovered Burrows on an ECHL scouting trip in 2002-03. Burrows bagged the equalizer to make it 4-4 and the Canucks triumphed 6-4 to keep Burrows on the line for the remaining 30 games.
