Founding member of the party, Dr Kwame Amoako Tuffour is of the view that, Hon Kennedy Agyapong is not a person who can be taken for granted in the party given his commitment, sacrifices and love for the party over the years. “The NPP’s blood runs through the veins of Kennedy Agyapong, so if he is angry over some things he deems not right in the party, the leadership must invite him and calm him down before it gets out of hands”, Dr Amoako Tuffour has said. Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Kumasi-based Angel FM and monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Dr Kwame Amoako Tuffour said “Kennedy Agyapong has the right to be angry if he is not happy and nobody can begrudge him for that” but party leaders must not underestimate the impact his exit would have on the party going forward. He however said “Kennedy Agyapong must also know that even Jesus Christ our Lord was betrayed by some of his closest disciples, so he must be courageous and fight on for the party”.
