MELAKA: Befrienders Melaka is currently facing a shortage of volunteers to handle calls. She said Befrienders Melaka must recruit between six and eight volunteers before training can be provided. “We will be conducting a preview for volunteers who will be trained in providing listening therapy to our callers. “The preview will be held from 8pm to 10pm on Sept 15 at the Befrienders Melaka Centre in Ujong Pasir. If callers feel comfortable to talk, then they will continue to express themselves.
