That’s pretty much the premise of an Irish TV series. Chin is a prolific hurler and Gaelic football player; his time in Vancouver was his first extended experience on ice. In a colourful interview with The Irish Times, he said he was taken aback by hockey’s acceptance — esteem, even — of vigilante justice. “We were disappointed to learn of the comments made in an Irish Times article about his experience; the assumptions made by Lee-Chin on hockey culture and reported by the Irish Times are baseless and categorically false.
