Apparel retailer Bauhaus International (0483) announced it will close all physical stores outside Hong Kong and Macau by the year ending March 31, 2021. About 50 staff of 14 stores will be laid off. The group's loss outside Hong Kong and Macau expanded nearly 13.5 times to HK$78.4 million in 2019 year-on-year, before narrowing to HK$68.6 million this year. Bauhaus will negotiate with landlords on closures.
