Electronic duo Basement Jaxx will headline two mini-festivals in New Zealand next year. Basement Jaxx will headline two electronica mini-festivals in New Zealand next autumn. Described as an "inner city gathering", Soiree will be held at Gloucester Green in Christchurch on Thursday, April 2, 2020, and the following day at Auckland's ASB Tennis Centre. Basement Jaxx will be the main act for both events, with New Zealand-based DJ Dick Johnson supporting in Auckland alongside further acts for both centres that are yet to be announced. Known for house-based dancefloor-fillers like Where's Your Head At and Romeo, Basement Jaxx have been a force in electronic music for 25 years.
