After that loss, Kamworor exacted his revenge on Barsoton, winning his second consecutive World Cross country title in Kampala last year, with Barsoton taking silver. RUNGARU POSES THREATKamworor has a battle at hand against reigning Africa Cross Country champion James Rungaru of Central region and the 2013 World Cross Country champion Japheth Korir (South Rift). She will take on Aprot (Prisons), who also took silver at the World Cross Country Championships in Kampala. World Under-18 2,000m steeplechase gold medallist Leonard Bett, World Under-18 3,000m silver medallist Edward Zakayo and the 2015 World Under-18 3,000m bronze medallist will face off in men’s Under-20 8km battle.
