A 24-year-old man is facing charges in a double homicide that claimed the lives of a father and son in Barrie. Barrie police received the call to attend a residence on William St. at around 3:20 a.m. on Wednesday. The identities of the victims have not yet been released, but police say one is a 51-year-old father and the other is his 19-year-old son. A 24-year-old man who resides at the same address was later taken into custody. Police said the victims and the accused knew each other, but it’s unclear how.
