Courtney Barnes up for challenge in competitive senior jockey ranks MAT KERMEENTayler Strong Courtney Barnes brought up the 100th win of her career at Riccarton on Saturday. Barnes, 21, who lost her apprentice claim in February, knows the second 100 will be much tougher than the first. Barnes said it has definitely been harder to gain rides since losing her claim, especially on the leading horses. As much as Barnes would have loved to have achieved the milestone on an Anderton runner, there was a silver lining to Toetwotoe's victory. But classy mare Include taught Barnes she is only one good horse away from being back in the limelight and she is up for the challenge.
