Map of Barisal Dhaka TribuneShe was reportedly raped by three men on SundayA housewife, who was allegedly gang-raped by three people, tried to commit suicide in Mehendiganj upazila of Barisal on Monday. The housewife had an extramarital affair with one Babu of Hizla upazila. On Sunday, Babu took the girl to his house where he along with his two friends raped the girl. Failing to bear the humiliation, the rape survivor drank poison in a bid to kill herself. Later, she was taken to Hizla Upazila Health Complex.
