The housewife was gang-raped after being stripped naked by a group of miscreants at Joykrishnapur village of Eklashpur union in Begumganj upazila on September 2. Video footage of the incident recently went viral on social media and sparked widespread public outrage, condemnation and protests across the country. The woman filed two cases with Begumganj police station after the video went viral.
