Barclays Bank Ireland has appointed Brian Delahunty as its head of corporate banking in Ireland, with immediate effect. He is taking over from Helen Kelly who was appointed head of corporate banking for Barclays Europe in April. In his new role Mr Delahunty will report to Helen Kelly and continue to be part of the Corporate Banking Europe leadership team. He had been head of business development for Corporate Banking, Barclays Europe, responsible for growth strategies across nine European countries. Barclays corporate banking provides financing, cash management, trade solutions, foreign exchange, green solutions and digital banking services to large corporates and works with Barclays Investment Bank to provide financial advisory and capital raising services.
