NEW YORK -- Barbara Sinatra, the widow of entertainer Frank Sinatra, died on Tuesday at the age of 90. Sinatra was surrounded by family and friends at her home in Rancho Mirage, California, a spokesperson for the family told dpa. Barbara wed Frank in 1976, and at 26 years, the union between the couple was the longest of Frank's four marriages. Barbara worked as a model in her younger years, but later became known for her work supporting abused and neglected children. The Barbara Sinatra Children's Center in Rancho Mirage offers therapy and special programs for abused and at-risk children and has treated more than 20,000 children since it was founded in 1986.
