But black militants prefer the rigid and paranoiac Marxist oppressed-oppressor narrative that sanctions a general condemnation of whites, justifying racially separated dorms, racially separated curricula, racially separated schoolrooms – and now racially separated Pride. White children are made to feel bad about “the prevalence of Whiteness and privilege,” while the black children are taught to be proud to their race, and offered treats and privileges. Pride Toronto knows that feeling. BLM Toronto is spouting nonsense. The unhealthy impulse to blame white racism for all black ills trickles ever downward into our culture.
