KUALA LUMPUR: A group of investors wants Bank Negara to launch an investigation into a local company over its investment activities. In an immediate response, the company, Monspace, claimed the group's protest on Friday was staged with political intent. The investors, all Chinese nationals, picketed outside Bank Negara, claiming to have collectively lost millions as a result of investing in the company's schemes. "The presence of DAP politicians clearly showed that it was driven to illegally cause destruction of Monspace," the company said. It added that it would file legal action against any individual or group making defamatory statements against the company.
