The busy road was temporarily closed on Sunday morning due to the landslip, which occurred at 11.30pm following a downpour. Resident Lim Hong Liang, 50, said a similar landslip occurred in 2011, when the construction was in its early stages. "The last time (this occurred), the Residents' Association here lodged a report with City Hall, which then liaised with the landowner to rectify the problem. “(City Hall) cannot (just) keep clearing rocks from the road. Nonetheless, City Hall will find a solution to stop the erosion from recurring," he said.
