GEORGE TOWN: The two children of Penang MCA Tanjong division Youth chief Lim Swee Bok who died in a house fire earlier this week were cremated at Batu Gantung Crematorium here on Sunday. Prayers were held for Lim Jia Yinn, 8, and her brother Lim Yin Chun, 9, at the Sri Saujana Flats, Lebuh Macallum as part of the ceremony. Swee Bok was seen holding back tears while staring at the casket of his two children as they were pushed into the incinerator at about 11.10am. The bodies of two other victims of the fire – Swee Bok's mother Lau Sai Poh, 62, and his wife, Chen Yen, 35, will be cremated later in the afternoon. The blaze at 6am on Nov 15 at Swee Bok's house at Pintasan Cecil 5, Pengkalan Weld claimed the lives of his entire immediate family.
