Bangladesh thrashed by India in Olympic Qualifiers

South Asian champion India returned to winning ways after being held to a 1-1 draw against Nepal in the first match. India’s 28-year old striker Bala Devi netted four goals, the 26-year old forward Kamala Devi scored a brace while midfielder Sanju added the other. Srimoti Krishna Rani Sarkar scored the only goal for Bangladesh in the 81st minute. They lost to host Myanmar in the first match of Group C.Golam Rabbani Choton’s side will conclude the campaign against Nepal Tuesday.
