Bangladesh were two down, with both openers back in the pavilion and Zimbabwe on top. If Mithun could have scored few runs with the team in a dire position, like he had done on previous occasions in the one-day format, he could have surely marked his arrival in Tests with a strong message. But unfortunately, the right-handed batsman managed to face only four balls before getting out for a duck. Mithun chased it, played a casual late cut, got the edge, and was caught at second slip. It was a disappointing start for Mithun in Tests.
