The Chinese Taipei took an early lead but the home team scored twice in the first half, netted another after the break on Saturday evening. Chinese Taipei then conceded an own goal before scoring their second before the final whistle at the Bangabandhu National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. With the match considered as a group decider, the win has dramatically raised Bangladesh's chances to qualify for the finals in China next year. Bangladesh had swept past Iran 3-0 and sunken Singapore 5-0 before hitting Kyrgyzstan for 10 in their last match. More to follow
