The United Nations Youth and Students Association of Bangladesh (UNYSAB) organised the four-day Bangladesh Model United Nations (BANMUN) 2016 at Adamjee Cantonment College in Dhaka with the theme “adolescence sexual reproductive health”. This was the eighth such event the UNYSAB organised since 2002. During the committee sessions, national and international issues such as women and children rights violation in Syria, international migration and its effect on world economy were addressed. Ten participants who were selected as the ‘Best Delegate’ from each of the committee were awarded at the closing ceremony. Over 650 students from 58 schools participated this year, acting as representatives of the UN member states and discussed all the 17 goals of the new SDGs.
