Ali is visiting Denmark as part of his tour to four Nordic countries. During the meeting, the two ministers commended the long standing friendly relationship between Bangladesh and Denmark which started immediately after Bangladesh’s independence. The development cooperation is designed to address Bangladesh’s development needs in line with Sustainable Development Goals and its national Seventh Five-Year Plan. The Danish minister encouraged Bangladesh to benefit from Danish experience and expertise to accelerate progress including green growth and green energy. Both ministers agreed to explore new avenues to improve commercial relations and further encourage public private partnerships.
