(Photo: Bangchak Facebook page)Bangchak Corporation Plc on Friday clarified that a recent crude oil shipment from the Middle East, which made deliveries in Singapore before arriving in Thailand, was conducted under a co-loading arrangement, a common industry practice. Mr Chaichana said ship tracking data indicated that part of the cargo had been unloaded in Singapore before the vessel arrived in Thailand, raising questions about whether the oil had been partially sold elsewhere. In its statement, Bangchak said the shipment was transported under a co-loading arrangement, an established industry practice in which cargoes for more than one customer are carried on the same vessel to optimise logistics efficiency. It said that a portion of the cargo was designated for another customer with a discharge port in Singapore.
