Bangabandhu, born a hundred years ago today was and still is adored, admired and loved by one and many across the globe. He spearheaded the long struggle for freedom from Pakistani subjugation, successfully culminating in the birth of an independent Bangladesh 49 years ago. Have we attained social freedom, freedom from greed, hatred, and hostility? Many of his sayings are still relevant to this day and the days to come. On the day of his 100th birth anniversary, let us remember and try to abide by the values laid down by the great architect of our nation.
