The Head Pastor of Governor’s Assembly church, Kafanchan in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Gideon Mutum has said bandits had on two occasions sent letters to him threatening to kill him if he did not renegade from supporting his people. In the separate letters the bandits had sent to him, they indicated that his support for his kins men might be his albatross. In a statement made available to Journalists in Kaduna at the weekend, the Church Secretary, Mr Eli Sajo Josiah, said the threat would not deter the pastor from doing what he felt was right. “Our pastor is committed to the development of Southern Kaduna and would not be deterred by the threat,” the statement said. “Our pastor, the church and the good work in the land would not diminish irrespective of the threat.
