MANILA, Philippines — The ban on bottled water and other liquids will remain in effect in all Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) stations. LRT-1 Corporate Communications head Rochelle Gamboa issued this notice on Wednesday, pointing out they have yet to receive a formal announcement from the Department of Transportation (DOTr) lifting such ban. However, management of the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) said it has already lifted its ban on bottled water and other liquids in all of its stations.
