Santos said it was high time that churches and parishes went green, and said no to plastic, particularly single-use plastics. “The Diocese of Balanga has also adopted the city’s directive which imposes a restriction on single-use plastics. The Filipino bishops agreed to go green in support of Pope Francis’ encyclical on the environment, “Laudato Si.”
