The Baie Verte Kin Centre won't be the site of any more weddings, meetings or other gatherings, after an engineering report detailing $1.4 million of necessary repairs and renovations has spelled the end of the community centre. The fire hall has since been rebuilt with provincial government funding, and council continues to hope a new community centre will be included in an upcoming provincial budget.
