B.C. Lions outlast Ottawa Redblacks 40-33 to take over second place in CFL’s West Division


VANCOUVER — Jonathon Jennings threw for 348 yards and three touchdown passes and won a battle of quarterbacks as the B.C. Lions held on to beat the Ottawa Redblacks 40-33 on Saturday night. Trevor Harris of the Redblacks was the most productive quarterback of the two CFL starters at B.C. vaulted into sole possession of second place in the West Division with the win. Tailback Moissis Madu capped Ottawa’s second possession of the second half with a six-yard scoring run to give the Redblacks a 30-27 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
