Badminton: Zii Jia: Tall shuttlers will struggle under new service rule


KUALA LUMPUR: Youngster Lee Zii Jia (pic) says tall shuttlers will be at a disadvantage under the new service rule. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is imposing a new service rule starting with the All-England in Birmingham from March 14-18. Under the rule, the whole shuttle must be below 1.15m from the surface of the court at the moment it touches the server's racquet. Zii Jia, who stands 1.86m, said it was difficult to serve. "It feels as though this new rule is against tall players.
