Saina saved two game points but made an error at the net to hand Gilmour the second game. Gilmour struggled to control the length of her shots as Saina inched closer to semi-finals with a 19-13 lead. Gilmour saved two match points before Saina wrapped up the match and assured herself of a bronze medal.
