The unseeded pair played superbly to stun sixth seeds Wang Yilyu-Huang Dongping of China 21-14, 16-21, 21-18 in the mixed doubles second round match at the Odense Sports Park on Thursday (Oct 19). I made some mistakes and I was frustrated but Shevon calmed me down," said Soon Huat. On their quarter-final match, Shevon said: "We will keep this momentum going. It's our first Denmark Open and so far, it has been good and we want it to be better."
