KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's badminton team have met their four-gold medal target in the Asean Para Games. Top seed Madzlan Saibon (pic) delivered the first gold for badminton in the Asean Para Games on Friday. In the SS6 (short stature), Didin Taresoh won a gold for Malaysia when he came out tops in the round robin competition. In the final round robin match, the 42-year-old school teacher defeated compatriot Muhd Naim Ahmad Halmi 21-1, 24-22. In the men's singles SU5 (impairment in the upper limb), Cheah Liek Hou exacted revenge over Suryo Nugroho of Indonesia with a 21-11, 21-15 win to deliver Malaysia's fourth gold medal.
