OPINION: Last month I was shocked to read that the cost of childcare is now roughly the same as private school fees. Childcare isn't cheap, but for many families – for my family – it's a necessity. I personally love daycare. The cost of living doesn't look like it's going down any time soon, so parents need to get creative with their childcare needs. Figure out the best days each family unit can take off during the school holidays, then entertain everyone's kids for the day.
