Back-to-back titles for teenage golferGRANT MATTHEW/Fairfax NZ Svala Garner tees off at the Taranaki strokeplay championships at Te Ngutu. Tyla Winter made it back-to-back wins in the Taranaki Women's Strokeplay Championships with victory at Te Ngutu last Sunday. Inglewood's Kerry Otene once again confirmed his standing as Taranaki's leading amateur golfer with the best individual performance. Once again, the teams are split into two sections - Taranaki wide and North Taranaki. In division one, Eltham play Pungarehu with Manaia against Waverley and Te Ngutu Two meeting Fitzroy Two rounding out the draw.
