Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Goel explained to Manmohan Singh that Modi never attacked him in his speech. Manmohan Singh himself is said to have "okayed" both the drafts, and to have expressed a desire to see Parliament work. The truce indicates yet again that government and Opposition can work together, provided there is mutual respect," one BJP MP said.
