A newborn baby girl has been left seriously injured after a car hit her pram before the driver fled the scene. The infant's mother had been crossing the road outside an ASDA store in Wrexham, Wales, at around 10.40am on Wednesday. A small white hatchback is said to have 'clipped' the pram, which then toppled over. Officers have since confirmed that the tot, who is understood to be just a few weeks old, was seriously injured. 'The latest update is that the baby has suffered a serious injury and we would like to speak to the driver at the earliest opportunity.
