Today, a visit to Shri Saibaba Samadhi Mandir in Shirdi proves a satisfying experience for many who have unshakeable faith in the saint. The roads leading to Shri Saibaba Samadhi Mandir aren’t well-laid, the areas surrounding the mandir are congested, and littering is a bane in the vicinity. It is said that Baba used to sit alone in the space between these two trees, until the time devotees began to join him here. Devotees, who began growing in number, walked the short distance from Dwarkamai to Chavadi with Saibaba, singing bhajans. We had booked for the Dhoop Aarthi in the evening, Kakad Aarthi at night and the Shej Aarthi early next morning.
