MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has announced the suspension of work in government offices and classes in all levels, public and private, in Metro Manila effective 3:00 p.m. Friday due to inclement weather brought about by the southwest monsoon. By the authority of President Rodrigo Duterte, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea signed Memorandum Circular No. 63, declaring the discontinuance of work and classes in the National Capital Region as recommended by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).
