BREAKING: Aldabaiba’s GNU granted vote of confidence by HoRBy Sami Zaptia. London, 10 March 2021:Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba’s Government of National Unity (GNU) was granted confidence by the House of Representatives (HoR) in its reunified and quorate session in Sirte today. The GNU received 132 votes in favour, two abstentions – while 36 members did not turn up to Sirte at all. HoR Speaker Ageela Saleh told Aldabaiba that his government’s term ends on 24 December 2021, the date of the planned elections. He said he needed the HoR with him in all stages and pleaded with the HoR to meet anywhere in Libya.
