DHAKA, March 9, 2026 (BSS)- Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) has formed monitoring and control cells at the central and regional levels to ensure proper and uninterrupted supply of fuel oil across the country and to quickly address any complaints related to distribution. According to a press release issued on Monday and signed by BPC Secretary Shahina Sultana, the initiative aims to closely monitor fuel oil stock, supply and sales situations nationwide. In addition to the central control cell established in Chittagong, regional monitoring cells have been formed in Dhaka, Bogura, Khulna, Sylhet and Barishal. The press release said the monitoring and control cells have been formed in coordination with the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, BPC and the concerned oil marketing companies. The notification also stated that any information regarding fuel oil distribution, storage, smuggling or adulteration can be reported immediately to the concerned control cell.
