The 2018 current account deficit projection is equivalent to 1.9 percent of GDP. As of end-October, the BOP shortfall has widened to $5.59 billion, higher than same time last year of $1.73 billion deficit. “And, also to some extent, the current account was being driven by price changes” such as the high fuel prices.
